Jumbo Aerial Photography has been around for over 18 years servicing South East Queensland. In the past couple of years, our business has grown and developed in what we can offer and how results are achieved. Jumbo Aerial Photography provides low-level aerial photography to developers, architects, engineers, the movie industry, real estate agents, and building contractors throughout South East Queensland and Australia.

Our vantage point is unique – combining the best of both ground level and traditional aerial photos. The key to this unique concept is our 7m long tethered balloon system carrying state of the art camera equipment. A video monitor allows us to see exactly what the camera sees and remotely control the camera to frame the perfect shot. We can fly from ground level to 400 feet (or 130m). This is high enough to get a real sense of perspective and location but still low enough to capture the entire atmosphere and details of a building or view.

The system is always extremely maneuverable. The shots can be taken from any altitude or angle that a person can walk to. It has the competitive edge over using a plane or helicopter – most shots take only one or two hours to complete, and weather permitting, you can expect the delivery of quality photographs within just a few days, quicker if required!
